Wondering if the ATT Go Phone
is Right For You?

All About The ATT Go Phone

The GoPhone from AT&T!operates on AT&T's all digital network, and provides roaming when needed.

Until the recent carrier switch, these phones were known as Cingular Go Phones.

Currently, the carrier allows two options for their prepaid cell phone service. You can pay-as-you-go, or choose a monthly plan.

The Pay As You Go Plan:

If you choose the Pay As You Go Plan for your ATT Go Phone, you buy the amount of minutes that you think you'll need in advance. There is no credit check or contract with the carrier, and you can cancel at any time without a penalty.

If you don't use up all your allotted minutes each month, they can be rolled over (when you purchase your next refill card) and added to your balance.

Added Incentives:

  • Unlimited mobile to mobile*with unlimited talk plan only
  • free nationwide long distance
  • Account alert sent via text message updating account balance each time you make a call
  • $10 worth of free minutes to get you started
  • and, you can earn back $20 for each $100 you spend!

Rate Plan Options:AT&T currently offers two different rate plana for their Pay as You Go customers.

  • offers 10 cents per minute on all voice calls. Unlimited free mobile to mobile calling to other AT&T customers. * An additional $1.00 is charged only on days you use the service.
  • Pay As You Go: offers 25 cents a minute for all calls. Free Mobile to Mobile is not offered. There is no $1 daily access fee charged for this plan.

Refill Cards:

To refill your AT&T Go Phone minutes, you must purchase a refill card. Refill cards start at $15, and allow 30 days before expiration. $25, $50, and $75 cards expire in 90 days. The $100 refill card allows 365 days (1 year).

Refill cards can be purchased online, by phone, or at your nearby AT&T retail store.

Pick a Plan:

When you Pick a Prepaid Plan for your ATT Go Phone, you'll be charged on a monthly basis. Payment will be automatically deducted from your credit, debit card, or checking account each month.

The Pick Your Plan service requires: (1) a compatible GSM phone; (2) credit card, debit card, or checking account; and (3) the mailing address of your residence.

All AT&T prepaid service plans include the automatic rollover of any unused minutes and free nationwide long distance service.

Service plans start at $29.99 and offer 200 free anytime minutes. After your 200 minutes are used, you're charged 15 cents per minute.

For $10 more, you'll receive 300 minutes of free airtime, 500 night and weekend minutes, and free mobile to mobile calling.

Pricier plans are available for those who need additional minutes or free nights and weekends. See GoPhone from AT&T! for additional monthly service plans.
