There are currently 6 prepaid cell phones available. Some cell phone models are reconditioned. Prices on the prepaid phones range from FREE (after mail in rebate), to $119.99.
Prepaid Service Plans and Cost:
Individual Plans range from $19.99 per month for 100 anytime minutes, and up to $99.99 for 2000 anytime minutes.
Night and Weekend Minutes can be used anytime between 9:01 pm and 6:59 am Monday through Friday.
Weekend minutes can be used between 9:01 pm Friday, through 6:59 am Monday.
You must purchase a monthly plan above $30 to qualify for unlimited night and weekend minutes. Also, your account must show a positive balance in order for the minutes to be used.
If you go over your allotment of anytime minutes (and have not purchased additional add-on minutes) you will be charged an 25-45 cents per minute overage charges, depending on the cost of your plan.
Suspension and Termination:
Liberty Wireless alerts you via e-mail, or SMS, when your prepaid phone is running out of minutes. If your balance reaches "0", your account will be temporarily suspended.
You can choose to refill your anytime minutes automatically by enrolling in the autofill program. A credit or debit card is needed. The amount of the add-on minutes you purchase will automatically be deducted from your card.
You may also purchase add-on minutes online, via your phone, or through an authorized dealer for immediate reactivation. Liberty Wireless also allows you to wait until the next month's plan is activated.
If you leave your phone inactive for more than 60 days, your account will be canceled.You will also lose your prepaid phone number.
