Tracfone and service

The prepaid Tracfone provides one of the largest digital coverage areas of any prepaid phone.

Instead of operating on a single network like most prepaid carriers, Tracfones partner with multiple networks. They also provide the ability to roam.

Prepaid Tracfones operate on a single, digital band. Analog calling is not supported by the carrier's network.

Prices on these handsets range from just $9.99 for a basic cell phone model, to $99.99 for more multi-featured phones.

Prepaid Tracfone Rates

The carrier offers three different rate plans to choose from.

Pay As You Go

Pay As You Go Plans allow you to buy airtime cards as you need them. If you have existing minutes on the card before you purchase another, your minites will carry over.

Expiration Your unused minutes do not expire as long as you keep your service active by purchasing and adding an airtime card every 60 days.

Who Needs This Plan? Those who want a cell phone handy for emergencies or call only a few times per month.


Month to Month Plan<

Provides double the minutes at half the price of Pay As You Go Plans. Airtime minutes are automatically billed to your credit card or checking account. If you run out of minutes before the end of the month, you can refill your card with minutes at discount prices

Expiration No expiration. Your minutes are automatically replenished each month. No cancellation fee.

Who Needs This Plan? Those who make frequent calls and want additional discount minutes.


Worry Free Wireless

The Worry Free Wireless plan provides a full year of service, and 250 anytime minutes anywhere you call. having wireless service.

Expiration One year after card purchase date.

Who Needs This Plan Good choice for those who don't use their cell phone much, but dislike constantly purchasing additional minutes.

As a courtesy, all prepaid Tracfones come with 20 minutes of airtime included after activation.

Trial period and refund:

If you are unhappy with your prepaid Tracfone or service, simply return it within 30 days for an exchange or refund. (Refill cards are non-refundable).
