What You Need To Know About
The Verizon InPulse

Verizon InPulse is the carrier's prepaid cell phone that requires no contract, and no credit check.

InPulse phones offer both nationwide and regional coverage, and operate on the carrier's CDMA network.

Domestic roaming is available at 20 cents per minute.


Verizon InPulse cell phone plans provide two payment options. You can pay-as-you-go, or choose a monthly payment plan.


Verizon's Pay-As-You-Go Plan

Verizon has recently introduced three different Pay As You Go plans to better suit their customers' needs. They are:

  • The InPulse Core - geared towards the light phone user. Calls cost 10 cents per minute, and there is a 99 cent daily access fee - but only on days you use your phone.

  • The InPulse Plus - geared toward the average phone user. Calls cost 5 cents per minute, but the daily access fee increases to $1.99 every day you use the network.

  • The InPulse Power - geared toward high end users. Call cost drop to only 2 cents per minute, but the daily access fee increases to $2.99 per day.

    Each plan includes Free InCalling (Mobile to Mobile) to other Verizon customers.

    Unlimited night time minutes are included in the Plus and Power plan.

    As a bonus, Verizon kicks in a $10 credit when you activate your INpulse phone.

    Refill Cards

    Refill cards are available online at Verizon's official website. Or, you can often find discountcards on eBay.

    Here's a breakdown of the denomination of the refill cards, and their expiration.

  • $15 to $29.99 expires in 30 days
  • to $74.99 expires in 60 days
  • to $149.99 expires in 90 days

    • If you purchase refill minutes before your existing minutes expire, your balance will rollover.

    Verizon's Prepaid Monthly Plans

    EasyPay Plans allow you to enjoy your Verizon InPulse phone without worrying about refilling your minutes.

    Benefits include:

    • Unlimited Mobile to Mobile Calling
    • 3000 Night & Weekend Minutes
    • A Better Value -- up to 700 anytime minutes for as little as $70 monthly
    • No PIN numbers or Refill Cards to worry about.


    EasyPlan Payment Options

    You can:

    • Set up Auto Pay, and make automatic monthly payments on the same date each month, directly from your debit or credit card.
    • Visit the Verizon InPulse site and set up an account
    • Or, visit your nearest authorized dealer.

    Refund PolicyVerizon will grant a full refund if the phone is returned within 15 days of the original date of purchase. You must include the original sales receipt. Refill cards are nonrefundable.
